I bought one of the first 2020 Frontiers in NM. I got the Crew Cab SV 4X4 Value Package Special Edition. I traded my Subaru Forester in because I wanted more off-road torque. There was a lot to read about the "old truck" with a new engine and tranny. I don't like driver aids or touch screens. I teach motorcycle riding and am very aware that most drivers use those big screens too much and ignore the nanny aides and are just poor drivers. I wanted a vehicle with LESS electronic stuff to break. The truck drives just fine for a truck. Everything is easy to use and see. My mileage is about 21mpg. I think that the professional reviews I read before buying were spot on. I got what I expected and am very happy. I use my Harley as my primary vehicle and the truck for groceries and the joy of off-roading. I expect this truck to last 20 years. - 5.0
Great truck - lots of grunt

Bought the truck used early winter in 2020 with 88000 miles, now has 100,000 in August 2020. Haven’t had any issues with this truck whatsoever. Handles surprisingly well and is quite nimble for a truck. Rides great too, especially on the highway. Interior is dated, but everything has a function and it all works - doesn’t feel cheaply made either. Great stereo. I have two small children and they fit perfectly in the back seat and have room for all their stuff. Is a monster in the snow - been through almost a two foot snowstorm (live in Maine) and it cut through like butter. The 4WD plus rugged tires make it a strong off roader, been up a five mile ATV mountain trail in it with no problem. I’ve hauled a loaded camper, with a loaded bed (have a leer cap), loaded cabin, and a canoe on top (probably close to 3500 pounds) Didn’t even feel like it was towing anything. Engine is a bit loud when the RPMs are over 4000, but how often does anyone really rev that high? Strong brakes, solid suspension, feels like a rugged truck. It does, however, have the turning radius of a battleship. Headlights aren’t the best. I have the second level below (loaded) and there isn’t a MPG gauge - minor, but would still be nice. Looked at Tacoma’s - but saved thousands by getting a truck that was similar in all aspects. Highly recommend.
